Easy Mini Ladoo Recipe by Sheena Deepnarain

Chai treats anyone? Who doesn't love Ladoo during Diwali?
But wow it's a process! Here's Sheena Deepnarain’s easy, yet still delicious mini-Ladoo recipe that's like a dupe for Ladoo using Jungle Taystee Wheat, which only take a few minutes to prepare!
 

Ingredients for Pot I:

  • 1½ cups Taystee Wheat
  • ½ a cup butter

Ingredients for Blender:

  • ½ cup milk
  • 1½ cups sugar
  • 3 sticks of cardamom
  • 5 elachi pods
  • Red colouring

Ingredients:

  • Coconut flakes for garnish.
  1. Heat butter in Pot I, add Taystee Wheat and cook for 7 minutes.
  2. In blender add all the ingredients required and bring to boil.
  3. Add contents of blender to Pot 1 and cook till texture is firm.
  4. Let the mixture cool down.
  5. Once mixture is cool, roll mixture into mini-balls, top with coconut flakes or roll in desiccated coconut.
