Suji Ka Halwa

  • 1 cup Taystee Wheat Semolina
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • 2-3 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 cups hot milk
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 TBS chopped cashew nuts
  • 2 TBS chopped almonds
  • 2 TBS white raisins (optional)
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom powder with
  • 6-8 TBS canned dessert cream
  1. In a pot, cook semolina until golden and aromatic
  2. Add ghee & cinnamon
  3. Add 3 cups of the hot milk
  4. Fold in condensed milk and sugar. Then add a pinch of salt
  5. Add cardamom, nuts and raisins
  6. Cover and cook on low heat for 1-3mins
  7. Add remaining 1 cup milk and cook until thick
  8. Top with 3 TBS dessert cream
  9. Transfer into bowl and top with remaining desert cream, more nuts and edible rose petals
